My name is Marjolein Burgerhout and I work as a trainer in public speaking and soft skills for professionals and students. I also offer transpersonal coaching.
I am an inspired, energetic, approachable trainer that adapts to the person or group in front of me easily. Mindful Movement is a fruit from my development as a dancer and a thinker. Ingredients from this session return in all the other work that I do.
About Mindful Movement
When I started to develop Mindful Movement, my main focus was to create a super safe and accessible movement & meditation session. So easy that you don’t have to ‘pay attention’ to the teacher, but can immediately ‘do it yourself’.
This session is failure-free / performance-free and aims to liberate movement from thinking. How fun is that! Guiding groups into Mindful Movement is definitely one of my favorite things in the world, it works for every-body.
It gives me great pleasure to make people feel comfortable and safe enough to explore the boundaries of their habitual moves. To guide them to a state of free and spontaneous response to music and emotion. Why? Because it is our medicine. To relax, to release, to connect, to feel happy. The cheapest, most accessible medicine imaginable. There are three things that naturally benefit all human beings: music, movement and meditation. It is that simple, and that powerful.
